Accessibility Committee
The Accessibility Committee, working in tandem with the Diversity Committee, is charged with ensuring accessibility across ChLA’s activities with a special emphasis on the annual conference.
In 2026, the Accessibility Committee is piloting the MicKenzie Fasteland Conference Accessibility Grant, which financially supports accessibility at in-person conferences for disabled and/or chronically-ill scholars by covering the costs of staying at the conference hotel for the duration of the event, allowing scholars to more safely and easily access the conference.

The Accessibility Committee consists of four members, elected each year for a term of three years. Each year, the committee will self-elect a chair or co-chairs. Terms begin immediately following the ChLA annual business meeting.
