Other Activities

Themed-Lunches

Join other attendees for casual, topics-based luncheons.  These luncheons are open to all members – we would love to see conversations involving both new and seasoned conference-goers alike!  These will involve small groups led by a ‘host,’ and they will take place at restaurants near the conference hotel.  Please note: Each participant is responsible for buying his or her own lunch.  Topics for these lunches are included on the registration form.  If you’re interested in taking part, simply choose the topic you’d like to attend.

Mentorship Program

The Membership Committee will pair new members with more established children’s literature scholars.  Potential mentors, your primary responsibility will be to meet with your assigned mentees during the Thursday lunch break at the conference.  If you are interested in taking part, either as a mentor or mentee, please indicate this on your conference registration form.
